Child marriage and the law

Here is a classic case of the justice system victimising the victim, instead of dealing with the perpetrators. A woman who was married off as a child is now denied a government job. What kind of justice is this? The state should have acted against her family elders at the time when the wedding took place. But instead, the victim 13 years later is punished. Read the story in the Times of India -
